The Application Process
Providence Academy’s admission process is designed to admit qualified students who are capable of benefiting from the school’s college preparatory program and making a positive contribution to the school community. The Office of Admissions works to identify, attract, and retain a diverse group of students who possess the following characteristics: intellectual curiosity, willingness to serve others and the community with a Christ-centered heart, self-motivation and a solid work ethic, admirable character, special talents, and enthusiasm for involvement in the school’s extra-curricular activities.
1. Attend a Patriot Preview
The Patriot Preview helps parents and students learn about what God is doing in the lives of students at Providence, how the University Model can work practically for your family, and how to take the next steps to become a Patriot! Both parents, if applicable, must participate in a Patriot Preview to be considered for admission. We offer Lunch and Learn Patriot Previews intermittently as well as evening Patriot Previews generally monthly. Come learn about Providence and ask all your questions! Patriot Preview sessions include a free catered meal.
In-person Patriot Preview events will be held at the Patriot Collegiate Center (4801 W. Highland Knolls Rd. Suite 300, Rogers, 72758).
If you would prefer to view a virtual Patriot Preview, fill out the Request More Information form and request it under additional info.
2. Read "Introduction to Classical Education"
"Introduction to Classical Education" by Christopher Perrin will enable you to more fully grasp the value of a Classical Education.
3. Apply for Admission
Complete the online application and submit all applicable documents and fees.
4. Take the Admissions Test
Upon receiving the application, application fee, and all required documents, families will be contacted by the Admissions team regarding the student admissions test. Testing is currently being conducted at our Patriot Collegiate Center in the Admissions office (4801 W. Highland Knolls Rd. Suite 300, Rogers, 72758).
5. Interview with the Admissions Team
Family interviews are conducted by two or more members of the Admissions committee. Both parents/legal guardians and the applicant are required to attend. During the family interview, the interview team will gain a better understanding of your family's academic, spiritual, and extracurricular goals for your child. The interview team will also take this opportunity to review the results of the admissions test.
