Visual Arts
The Providence art courses are designed to quicken an appreciation for the different types of art and to provide opportunities for students to discover the joy derived from creating works of art.
Students will use different techniques to describe their rendering. Sequentially, Providence students move to two-dimensional paintings using color, volume, and scale.
The curriculum and faculty utilize a variety of curriculum to assist the students in developing the basic knowledge and skills to create their own works.
It is the desire of Providence Academy to create a premiere art department utilizing both skilled Providence faculty, as well as guest professional artists throughout our community to train students. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that allows students the opportunity to maximize their God-given talents as they discover the joy derived from creating works of art.

Musical Arts
The goal of the Providence Music Department is to train the students to have an understanding of music, both as an art form and as a valued part of our culture.
Students can learn an instrument in Beginning Band, hone their skills and promote school spirit in our Providence All-Star Pep Band, or serve the Lord with their musical gifts as part of our Chapel Worship Team.
The faculty provide opportunities for all levels of musicians to excel, and believes that students should experience music through participation. The music program at Providence allows for our students to learn and express themselves through a variety of musical styles ranging from the 16th century to the present.
These courses are open to all students, including those with no prior musical experience.
