For Grammar School (K-6th grades) positions, Mrs. Chelsea Abbott (cabbott@providence-academy.com) is the hiring principal.  Core teaching roles are part-time positions with classroom instruction two days per week (on Tuesday and Thursday).

For Upper School (7th-12th grades) positions, Mrs. Michelle Moore (mmoore@providence-academy.com) is the hiring principal.  Core teaching roles are part-time positions with classroom instruction three days per week (on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday).

As an independent, accredited, college-preparatory school, Providence Academy provides students fundamental instruction in core subjects, plus art, music, K-12th Spanish and Latin, STEM enrichment, and PE, along with competitive athletics, dual-credit college classes, and select enrichment courses.

Dean of Advising

The Dean of Advising is a strategic position at Providence Academy and is part of the Upper Campus administrative team. This position is responsible for ensuring the oversight of student readiness for high school graduation and for optimal placement following graduation. A major objective of the academy is that all graduates of PCCA will be college-ready, so in supporting the goals and mission of the academy, the Dean of Advising leads toward the end.

The shuttle bus driver position is a part-time role in charge of transporting students on trips/events during the school year.

Science Instructor

The Science teacher should not merely communicate scientific facts, but should lead students to behold the order, beauty, and coherence of God’s creation. The teacher is responsible for guiding students in the study of foundational scientific principles—including matter, motion, energy, chemistry, and the natural laws that govern the physical world—while cultivating wonder, careful observation, and disciplined reasoning.

JH Band Director

The Junior High Band Director leads beginning band students, helping them lay a strong foundation in music and grow in their appreciation for the gift of sound and harmony. The aim is to cultivate both skill and delight in music as part of a well-ordered life.

English Instructor

The English Teacher works with students to cultivate their abilities in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Through the study of literature and language, students are formed in wisdom, virtue, and eloquence.

Math Instructor

The Math Teacher works with students in courses that may include pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and beyond. The aim is to help students see mathematics as a coherent and orderly discipline that reflects the rationality of God’s created world.

History Instructor

The History Teacher leads students in the study of history with the aim of helping them see the past truthfully and understand their place within God’s providential ordering of time.

The Facilities Aide is responsible in assisting with the day-to-day running of the Grammar School facilities.

Grammar Classroom Teacher

The Grammar Classroom Teacher will instruct students with learning units and lessons that follow the scope and sequence of the provided curriculum. They will also integrate Biblical Worldview throughout the curriculum so students can develop this worldview to show love to those around them.
