The Providence Classical Christian Academy Board of Directors is pleased to announce the election of Kipplyn Summers and Dr. Brian Fugate as non-voting board advisors.

Kipplyn Summers

Kipplyn Summers graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. Before moving to Northwest Arkansas, she was deeply involved in Christian education in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where she helped launch Cornerstone Classical Academy as a founding member and later served as Accreditation Coordinator at Wesleyan Christian School. She also spent time in Costa Rica as Ministry Event Coordinator for Selah Soul Care Counseling and has continued to serve Providence Classical Christian Academy as Accreditation Coordinator.

Kipplyn and her husband, Bo, are the proud parents of seven children: Chandler, RandiKate, Charlie (PCCA Class of 2018), John David, George (PCCA Class of 2024), Lilly, and Jack (PCCA freshman). For 20 years, Kipplyn homeschooled her children until the Summers family joined the Providence community in 2016. Today, she and Bo delight in their growing family, including seven grandchildren. They are active covenant members of Trinity Grace Church in Rogers.

Dr. Brian Fugate

Brian Fugate graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, an MBA in Marketing and Logistics, and a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management. He currently serves as Associate Dean for Graduate Programs and Research in the Sam M. Walton College of Business and is also a Professor and Chair of the J.B. Hunt Department of Supply Chain Management at the University of Arkansas.

Brian and Jenny have been married for 26 years and have four children. Ally (PCCA Class of 2025) attends Ouachita Baptist University, where she studies biomedical sciences and is a cheerleader. Their other children are Luke (PCCA junior), Brynley (PCCA freshman), and Hudson (PCCA 5th grade). Since joining Providence Academy in 2016, the Fugate children have engaged in cheer, basketball, soccer, volleyball, tennis, and various musical theater productions. Brian has enjoyed coaching grammar school basketball teams for both boys and girls, fostering their growth and teamwork on the court.

The Fugate family attends University Baptist Church in Fayetteville. He has experience teaching adult and children’s bible studies and serving as an elder.
