Welcome from President

jason ross headmasterWelcome to Providence Classical Christian Academy (Providence Academy), a leading Christian, private, independent, college-preparatory school serving all of Northwest Arkansas, including Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville.

I want to thank you for taking the time to consider Providence Academy. We are an accredited Christian, University-Model School®. Providence is fully accredited through AdvancED via the North Central Association Commission on School Improvement (NCA CASI) and through Christian Schools International (CSI). Providence is also a certified member of University-Model Schools International® (UMSI). We are working with an ever-growing number of families across Northwest Arkansas, and I am very excited about what is taking place here.

At Providence, we are focused on building family connections and building leaders for Christ. We are seeking families who want to invest long term in being part of the Providence community and see their own students follow in the footsteps of others as graduates of Providence Academy.

Our vision is to partner with parents and provide our students with an exceptional, college-preparatory education. In order to accomplish this vision, we seek to glorify God while using an innovative educational model that is spreading in influence on a national, even international, level.

I would like to share a little of our story with you. In 2002, a group of Northwest Arkansas parents decided to pursue a different approach in educating their children. They had discovered a very successful and intriguing model being used in the State of Texas. This unparalleled educational format, which is now being utilized by more than ninety (90) schools nationwide, is based largely upon one principle—increased parent involvement through innovative scheduling. Then, Providence Academy was birthed from this shared vision in 2004 with thirty-nine students. Countless hours of prayer, research, and implementation have taken place to provide the opportunity for greater parental involvement and for college-ready graduates to families in Northwest Arkansas and Southern Missouri.

Why is parental involvement so important?

  • I believe the Bible makes it clear that parents primarily have the privilege and responsibility of educating their children.
  • Statistics also demonstrate time and time again the increased likelihood of success on the part of children whose parents take this role.

Since parents usually need help in order to provide an excellent education for their children, Providence Academy exists to give access to professional instruction, researched curriculum, individualized encouragement, and clear structure.

I invite you to take a little time and read more about Providence on this website. I also invite you to attend one of our informational meetings, Patriot Previews, in order to become more familiar with our exciting school. The dates and times of upcoming informational meetings are on this site. Finally, I invite you to prayerfully consider being a part of the Providence family. God is doing great things here.

In Christ,

Jason Ross, M.S.E.
