Providence Academy administrators and local healthcare professionals continue to monitor the outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus in an effort to provide a prayerful and wise response. This information page provides updates regarding that progress in a central location.
- Monday, March 16 & Tuesday, March 17 were virtual “snow days.”
- Beginning Monday, March 16, all extra-curricular activities, including practices and rehearsals, are temporarily suspended.
- Providence implemented remote learning the week of March 30.

March 18 & March 19 - Patriot Shine Run (aka, Grammar Fun Run) Postponed until further notice. We plan to host the run at a later TBD date.
NWA Gives, a special day of regional giving, went forward. It was a very successful event, thanks to the generosity of the Providence community. in terms of total fundraising dollars, Providence Academy was runner-up out of more than 300 nonprofits in the region. Fifty-three donations were made and $28,416 raised. Thank you to everyone who participated in any way!
There are many ways for us to serve each other and our community during this time. We will occasionally post ideas here for helping out.
