In the living room of one of the founding families, the vision and dream of opening Providence Academy was formed. It was a desire to offer a Christ-centered education to Christian families, and at the same time give back to parents more time with their children. As a result of the faithfulness of these families to follow God on this journey, the doors of Providence Academy opened in 2004.
Throughout the years, parents, grandparents, and supporters of the academy have given generously to make Providence a reality, and God has blessed the school beyond anyone’s greatest imaginations.
Providence is a non-governmental/non-public school and an independent private Christian school without any affiliation to a local church or denomination. As such, we don’t receive tax dollars from the state, county, or funds through a church’s budget received from tithes to sustain and enhance the programs at Providence.
Providence Academy relies on the generous, tax-deductible gifts of those who share our vision. From current parents and grandparents to former parents, supporters and foundations, many are involved in meeting the financial needs to support the vision and expansion of Providence Academy. These generous gifts have enabled Providence to prosper and be positioned for years to come to provide the excellent classical, Christ-Centered, and college-preparatory K-12 educational experience for which Providence Academy is known.
In addition, providing financial support to Providence allows the school to offer the opportunity to be a part of the Providence Academy experience to families who otherwise would not be able to afford the tuition. Providence is committed to providing financial aid to as many families as possible, and we continue to expand the overall financial aid awards each year when possible. The leadership of Providence Academy believes in helping any and all families whose children qualify to attend the school regardless of their financial resources.
Do you want to partner with our vision? Through cash gifts, pledges, and stock transfers to in-kind donations and bequests, every gift received is an investment that will provide the opportunity to provide students an education that will allow them to be the leaders of the next generation.
