Providence has opened up many new opportunities for me. I have been able to develop better public speaking skills, get involved in student leading opportunities, be challenged mentally in the classroom and physically in sports, all while strengthening my walk with Christ. You couldn't find better teachers and staff that truly care about your education and value you as a person. Providence has been a real blessing to my family and me through our years of attending here.
My experience at Providence Academy has changed me physically, mentally, and spiritually. The chance I have to be in a class of disciplined believers, on a basketball team of committed individuals and to be a part of a school of Christ-following students is an indescribable privilege and blessing. Through all my courses, my Christian faith is strengthened by learning how to glorify God in becoming a godly leader for Him. I am beyond proud to be called a ‘patriot’ and continually pray that I can leave an influential legacy in this school and for the students within it.
I served as a student council member at Providence for three years. In those years, student council has given me the opportunity to exercise and advance my leadership skills. I’ve learned that true leadership is humble service. In 2013, I was asked to join PCCA’s first varsity pom squad. I can say that cheering the basketball team to a state championship was one of the highlights of my senior year.
